1868 (Jan. 18) Charlottetown P.E.I. to St. John's, Newfoundland, folded cover from the Boyd correspondence bearing P.E.I. 1866, 6d yellow-green (7), tied by grid cancel, "Prince Edward Island, 12 Jan 1868" origin backstamp, two-line "MISSENT-TO / ST. JOHN N.B." handstamp, reverse with Amherst (1.16), St. John (1.21) and sent back to Charlottetown with P.E.I. (1.25) cds, St. John's (2.17) arrival backstamp, blue crayon "4" pence packet rating crossed out and updated to "10" cents due in Newfoundland as an unpaid letter; small edge flaws and wear, Fine and rare missent use, Illustrated in Pratt.
