1873, 3¢ green, 6¢ dull pink, horizontal pairs of each, tied by two central strikes of NYFM Elaborate Positive Geometric fancy cancels (GE-EP9) on 1875 cover to Pont d'Ain, France, red "New York 'Paid' May 18" exchange cds, forwarded upon arrival to Paris, Calais (5.30.75) entry cds and matching "P.D." framed h.s. also ties 6¢ pair, various backstamps include Pont d'Ain (5.31) and Paris (6.1); few slightly toned perfs and trivial edge wear, a Very Fine and attractive usage at the double 9¢ treaty rate usage, ex-Richards.
