Uruguay Collection, 1856-1936, parallel mint and used collection in a 28 page stock book assembled over more than 40 years with the help and guidance of Brian Moorhouse and containing some 1805 stamps with a Scott catalog value of $12,830, all arranged as per SG catalogue part 20 and allowing for all perforation and watermark varieties including Postage, Semi-Postals, air post, special delivery, postage dues, officials, newspaper stamps and Parcel Post stamps of the period to 1936 (Scott equivalent numbers are marked on dividing sheets), commences with the 1867 early "Carrier"issues of 1856-1858 and thence to the sunburst issues of the Republic of 1859 and 1869. Thereafter a mint and used run-through to 1936 allowing for all varieties and including the 1928 airs complete unused, the large Artigas issue of 1929-33 is complete unused and the Pegasus sets are virtually complete from 1929-1932, separate sheet is a partial reconstruction of 55 of the 1882 and 1884 numbered stamps; should be viewed to really appreciate the thoroughness of this assembly, with much of the material from Moorhouse auctions.
