(Colorado) "South Side, Co T., Apr 28", manuscript postmark cancels 1874, 3¢ green (U159) entire to West Las Animas Col., slightly rough opening at top, Very Fine and exceptionally rare, Scarcity R8. Estimate $500 - 750.
The South Side post office was open 1869-1877, located in Pueblo and later Bent County. Although not year dated, the 3¢ entire was issued in 1874 and the postmaster appears to have indicated territory with a "T". We have not previously offered a South Side cover.
