Nova Scotia, 1877 (Jun. 12) Melbourne, Victoria to Bridgewater, N.S., cover bearing Victoria 1873, 2d violet (135), six singles, tied strikes of "Victoria" grid cancels duplexed with "Melbourne, JE 12 77" cds, red crayon "2", via Southampton with red London Paid (7.30) transit cds, red "1½d" credit handstamp to Canada, carried by Allan Line Sarmatian to Halifax, reverse with Halifax (8.12) transit and Bridgewater (8.14) arrival cds; small stamp and cover faults, Fine.
Estimate    $200 - 300.

Prepaid at the 10d per ½ oz. rate effective April 1870 with 2d Victoria share (noted in red crayon) and 1½d Canadian share.
