Mexico - 1868 Hidalgo Balance Lots

Mexico, 1868, Hidalgo Thin Figures Issue Collection, of over 540 stamps with a Follansbee catalog value of over $20,000 plus 23 covers and three sello negros of the period, about 70 are unused representing about a quarter of the catalog value including 50c from Mexico, Guadalajara, Colima, Zacatecas and "41" (number originally assigned to Tacubaya), as well as 100c Mexico '68 & '69 and Monterrey, used including many stamps cataloging in excess of $100 including 100c browns of Colima, Mazatlan and Acapulco (couple have unobtrusive flaws) and such scarce as 50c Cordova, Aguascalientes and Tlaxcala (thin), and 100c Cordova, Ures, Tixtla and Huejutla, a 25c Tabasco pair (imperf) cancelled Teapa is impressive, altogether 40 districts are represented and there are a great many sub-office cancels present, few error numbers will be found; some small flaws as usual but generally the condition is well above the norm, generally F.-V.F. or better.
