1895 Bureau Issue Bisect Usages, group of 5 covers including #269 vertical bisect from 1897 Philadelphia; #269 diagonal bisect from 1904 Waltham; #269 diagonal bisect used with 2¢ #279B from 1898 New York; #264 vertical bisect used as ½¢ stamp on 1¢ entire from 1925 St. Paul as there were no ½¢ stamps for the new 1½¢ rate; and #280 vertical bisect from Eastwood N.Y. on preprinted return envelope to Pierce, Butler & Pierce Mfg. Co. in Syracuse (tape stain reinforcement on face), plus one faulty #269 vertical bisect on large part of cover, F.-V.F. and interesting group.
