1939, 3¢ Presidential, horizontal coil, pair, tied by "New York, N.Y., Mar 17, 1945" machine cancel on cover to "Frank Perry, American Civilian Internee held by Japan in Zentsuzi War Prison Camp, Zentsuzi, Shikoku Island, Japan", from his wife in San Francisco endorsed "Via New York, N.Y.", censor tape at left with purple "11877, U.S. Censor" handstamp, Japanese blue censor handstamp with three Japanese characters reading Ken'etsuzumi (censored) and additional orange red oval censor mark of Wada; reduced slightly at right.

Frank Perry was a civilian working on Guam when taken Prisoner. It was reported he was paralyzed from the waist down. He one of only three American prisoners in this camp.
