(Kern) Joyful 4/26/84, manuscript postmark (KER-2000) on manuscript canceled 2¢ red entire to Anaheim, Bakersfield transit and receiving backstamps; small cover tear at top left, Very Fine, an extremely rare and earliest recorded postmark from the short-lived Joyful post office, with known usage between April 26th and May 16th of 1884.

Named by the Association of Brotherly Cooperation, a Utopian colony which disbanded at the end of 1884.
