San Joaquin County Balance, of approximately 250 covers and cards; nice array of towns and townmarks, with better including rare unlisted 1895 French Camp cds, and rare unlisted 1876 Ripon first type cds (and earliest usage), manuscript 1877 Acampo postmark (SAJ-10, R4), 1870 Elliott manuscript (unlisted and probably the only first period postmark), other rarity 4 manuscript postmarks including 1870's Ellis, Lathrop and French Camp, 1864 Lockeford, 1882 Peters, 1878 Ripon and 1881 San Joaquin, 1875 Bellota first type cds (SAJ-290, R4) only recorded, 1868 Linden first type cds (SAJ-1270, R4), choice blue Farmington first type cds (SAJ-880, R4), 1880 New Hope first type cds (SAJ-1910, R4), first two Woodbridge cds types (SAJ-3130 & 3140, both R4), choice 1883 Atlanta first type cds (SAJ-120, R4), also several scarce rarity 4 & 5 Stockton postmarks, etc., generally F.-V.F.
