ONE OF ONLY TWO RECORDED EXAMPLES OF THIS MARTIN'S SPOKANE FALLS & WARDNER STAGE & EXPRESS FRANK.

This was a stage service that operated between Spokane Falls, Washington and Wardner, Idaho. It is not clear if Martin's was an express in the true sense of the word, as their printed envelopes do not indicate "paid" for any letter carriage.
