From Steamer Osceola, clear strike of red oval on blue folded cover docketed as datelined "Trenton Dec 11d 1850" from Buchannon Carroll & Co. to New Orleans La., endorsed "Osceola's Bill Lading" at top, Very Fine and choice, ex-Milgram (J.W.M.).
Milgram No. 1040    Estimate $150 - 200.

In the early 1850s, the "Osceola" plied the waterways of the Ouachita, Black and Mississippi Rivers between Camden, Ark. and New Orleans La.
