Hawaii, 1866, 5¢ blue, tied by large grid handstamp on 1868 cover to Richmond, Ind., in combination with U.S. 1861, 10¢ green (68) just tied by circle of wedges handstamp, red "Honolulu, U.S. Postage Paid, Apr 3" cds, with red "Hawaiian Steam Service" oval handstamp and "San Francisco Cal. Apr. 16" cds; 10c stamp with light perf crease, Very Fine; with 1978 H.P.S. certificate.

AN ATTRACTIVE 1866 5¢ KAMEHAMEHA V AND U.S. 1861 10¢ ISSUE MIX FRANKING USAGE BEARING THE "HAWAIIAN STEAM SERVICE" HANDSTAMP.

Carried on the COMSS "Idaho", departing Honolulu April 3rd and arrived in San Francisco on April 15th of 1868.
