Wright's New York Cotton Circular sent by Kremelberg & Co. of New York at 2¢ circular rate prepaid to destination 2¢ black (73) tied by NYCM geometric cancel, New York large "½" (silbergroschen) h.s. credit to Bremen, carried by NGL Line Union departing New York Mar. 28th to Bremerhaven arriving Apr. 9th, blue "America/über Bremen/Franco" three-line handstamp, Very Fine, ex-Winter.

Circular prepaid to destination in Bremen. Large "½" handstamp of New York, known in red and in black, applied as a result of late 1866/early 1867 negotiations with the Germans that established printed matter rates beyond the GAPU and set U.S. credits per item (recent research by Heinrich Conzelmann).
