Parcel Post, 1913, 3¢ Railway Postal Clerk, tied by "Orangeburg N.Y., Jul 3, 1913" machine cancel on gray "Bell and Company" Chemists corner card envelope to Ashton R.I., would have originally contained a small metal sample box of indigestion pills, Very Fine example of the 3¢ rate for 3-ounce samples.

The 3¢ Parcel Post stamp was only issued in April 1913. Prior to this, 1¢ and 2¢ Parcel Post stamps were used for the 3¢ rate, which two years previous had been responsible for the legendary coil stamps.
