California Town Postmark Collection, 1900-15, extensive holding of approximately 3,500 sleeved covers and cards (mostly post cards) arranged by town, nearly 1,000 different towns represented with some different townmark types for the period, also other facets including registered, special delivery stamp usages, exposition & fair related covers and postmarks, local corner cards including illustrated, etc.; with some highlights including 1911 Barrack, Cal. on rare real-photo post card showing "Camp at Pt Loma" military tent camp along waterside, 1902 Bayha on cover, 1910 Bodfish postmark on real-photo postcard of "Kern River", 1910 Brookdale cover to Austria, 1909 Broderick straight line on post card, 1906 S.F. Earthquake picture post card, 1913 Gaviota, 1906 Gibsonville registered corner card cover, 1906 Grizzly Flat cover with Sierran Mining Co. corner card, Hanford with 1903 3rd Central California Fair and 1911 Kings Kounty Karnival multicolored illustrated covers, 1912 High Grade manuscript postmark on cover, rare 1910 Clayburn postmark on cover (discovery example) 1906 Craft manuscript on post card, etc.; high degree of strong well struck postmarks throughout, generally Very Fine, an excellent collection well worth further expansion.
