1870 (Oct. 7) Paris to Lambersart, postcard with manuscript endorsement "ballon non monté" postmarked "Paris, Rue Aligre, 5^E, 7 Oct. 70" double circle postmark and franked with 10c Empire Lauré tied by numeral "23" star cancel, indistinct arrival postmark of 20 Oct. at left, Very Fine, A nice card from this scarce Paris Office which missed the balloon Non Dénomme N^o 2 as this was from the 5^e pick up, as a result this was carried aboard the Jean Bart N^o 2.
