1870 (Dec. 9) Paris to the Department of Oise, folded letter postmarked light strike of "Paris, R. D'Enghien, 9 Dec. 70" double circle, franked with 20c Cérès tied by indistinct numeral "4" losange cancel, cover then forwarded to Boulonge sur Mer and then onto London, with postage stamp selvage used a forwarding label, red boxed Insufficient Postage handstamp & label to by British "More to Pay" handstamp, backstamped partial arrival of cds, then with "Boulogne-S-Mer, 31 Dec. 70" arrival and two different London receiving backstamps of Jan. 2, 71 (one in red & other in black), Very Fine, a charming little cover full of character, carried by the Général Renault.
