(San Diego) Perris, San Diego Co., Cal., 7/1, purple straight line postmark (SAN-4300) on ca. 1886 cover to Madera, franked with manuscript canceled 1883, 2¢ red brown; cover slightly reduced at right and light stain at top affecting postmark, F.-V.F., this is the only recorded strike of Perris's first postmark.
