Mexico, 1892, 10c vermilion, advertising sheet and envelope. Certified entire to Schönlinde, Austria, uprated with 1890, 5c dull blue + 10c vermilion all tied by "Zacatecas, Zac., Abr 21, 93" cds's with matching certified boxed handstamp and "A.R." in circle handstamps, receiving backstamp; 10c with nick at lower right, Very Fine and choice, a very rare usage of this scarce advertising entire.

Lot 2762    

Mexico, 1892, 10c vermilion, advertising envelope. Canceled by "Mazatlan, Sin., Ene 15, 98" cds, addressed to Rosario, slight reduced at right with piece out of window, Fine, a rare postally example of this unusual advertising entire.

Mexico, 1899 Eagle Issue specimen postal stationery. Two examples of the 2c red & 5c blue lettercards, 3c brown paid reply card and 2c red, 5c blue and 10c lilac entires, all with "Muestra" overprint, paid reply card on original pages from "Coleccion Timbres" archival book, Very Fine.

Mexico, Postal Card, 1882, 1c gray lilac + 2c brown, with rose background. U.P.U. postal card entire, clip and corner crease at bottom left, Fine, an extremely rare card, officially prepared but never issued. Higgins and Gage No. 1A.

Mexico, Postal Card, 1882-84 U.P.U. "EUM" proofs. 3 postal card designs without indicias; 1882 design in rose in wove and in blue on pink card (FC10, FC11) and 1884 design on buff card (FC 12); light tone spots on later two, F.-V.F.

Mexico, Postal Card, 1886, 5c blue on buff, "Coleccion" overprint. Fresh, Very Fine and scarce, the purpose for this overprint has not been ascertained however they where probably prepared for archival purposes.

Mexico, Postal Card, 1895, 2c red. Canceled by "Mexico, D.F., 2 Abr, 95" First Day of Issue cds, locally addressed, includes 1895 2c & 4c stamps canceled by pre-first day "Mexico 11.Mar 95" cds however the dateline must have been wrongly set, Very Fine.
