(California) San Francisco Postal History Collection, of approximately 200 items; starting with a nice range of early 1850's "40" and "12½" rate usages, good 1851 issue usages including #9 strip of four uprating on 6¢ Nesbitt, #11 block of four, etc., 1857 issue including #30A+35 combination to France, good showing of 1861-67 issues including #63 x6, #68 x2+76 usage to Switzerland, enclosure regarding A. Lincoln mourning in S.F., #77 to France, an array of Banknote usages with nice showing of fancy killers, foreign usages, "Way", etc.; nice material throughout.

(California) San Francisco Registered Cover Collection, extensive assembly of over 200 items; starting with a 1857 registry receipt signed by postmaster C. Weller, 1860's double rate usage, Banknote era usages including official business, 1872 to Netherlands, nice array of domestic usage frankings, station cancel, return receipt, etc., similar later usages including a comprehensive array of registered postmarks, ad covers including illustrated, nice showing of commemorative issues, #F1 usages, etc.; condition a little varied with many little gem covers throughout.

Express usages, also a Carnes' City Letter Express adhesive on locally addressed cover to first governor of California W. Burnett (cover faulty but very rare usage), generally F.-V.F.
