1851, 3¢ Washington black reprint essay, by Henry Benner, die on proof paper affixed on 254x203mm card, pulled by BEP plate printer in 2003 after the original die resurfaced and was donated by collectors to the Smithsonian, Linns article accompanies, this is Stanley Piller's personal copy as one of the donors with pencil "11/15" on reverse indicating 11 of 15, Very Fine, Only 16 Produced.
