New York, N.Y., 1846, 5¢ black on bluish, signed "ACM" connected, attractive unused vertical pair, positions 31/36, each with a double transfer: pos. 31 with bottom frame line doubled, 36 with top frame line doubled, no gum, clear to large margins all around, small tears at upper right & upper left of the top stamp, otherwise F.-V.F., ex-Frelinghuysen; with 2012 P.F. certificate.
