British Offices in the Azores, 1849 Madeira to Le Havre, Spain, cover via London and Paris with clear Madeira British P.O. date stamp on reverse and bold London "Ship-Letter" handstamp on front and reverse, and 1850 folded letter from Cadiz to London rated "2/2" and showing circular "B.C., Cadiz" handstamp of the British Consular, Very Fine.

British Offices in Brazil, 1843 Sailor's Letter - Rio de Janeiro to Halifax, England, folded letter endorsed "From James Hashe, Seaman H.M. Ship Curacoa, Rio de Janeiro" at top and countersigned by the Commanding Officer below, franked with G.B. 1841, 1¢ red canceled and tied by Maltese cross on arrival in Halifax, with "2" rate handstamp and reverse with red London entry (9.10) and receiving date stamp (10.10), letter with interesting contents including…I have put a stamp on the letter and if you have and more to pay you must let me know…some of our chaps tell me they won't do and they always stitch a penny in one corner; slight soiling and 1d with some edge nicks, F.-V.F., a fascinating cover giving first hand account of the problems encountered with the sailor's concessionary rate; signed Holcombe & Calves.

"Rio De Janeiro, Mr 15, 1852" cds, Fine and scarce.

British Offices in Colombia, Great Britain, 1862, 6d lilac, on piece canceled by barred oval "C35" handstamp, in combination with Peru 1862 1p red tied by indistinct cds, and U.S. 1861, 3¢ rose tied by light target handstamp; couple small flaws, Very Fine appearance, still a rare triple mixed franking.

British Offices in Cuba, 1850 Spain to San Francisco, Cal., folded letter carried outside the mails to Cuba, placed in the post at St. Jago de Cuba where rated "2/-" in red manuscript and with full clear strike of red "Paid At St. Jago De Cuba" Crown Circle handstamp, red boxed "30" rate handstamp applied upon arrival in San Francisco, with single disinfection slit, reverse with well struck "St. Jago De Cuba, Au 3, 1850" B.P.O. cds and additional "Kingston-Jamaica, Au 5, 1850" transit date stamp, Very Fine, an exceptionally rare cover with only a handful of this Crown Circle recorded and a very late date of use of both this and the date stamp, a probably unique incoming mail usage to the U.S. western states.
