New York, N.Y., 1845, 5¢ black on bluish, without signature, nice to large margins, on cover tied by red "Paid" on folded envelope with red "24 Oct", very attractive, slight fault on reverse from seal removal, immaculate and Very Fine; signed Calves.

1847, 5¢ red brown, margins large to in at bottom, tied by blue "Philada, Pa., 5 cts, Sep 9" integral rate cds with second strikes alongside on fresh cover to Princeton, N.J., with choice strike of "Blood's Despatch, 26 So. Sixth 28" circular handstamp, with original 1850 enclosure; certificate notes stamp oxidation and being the orange brown shade which we feel is in error, F.-V.F., a scarce combination; with 2010 P.F. certificate.

1847, 5¢ red brown, margins large to roughly torn in at bottom, manuscript canceled on 1850 cover to Paris, France with "Way" notation at top, red boxed "Colonies &c Art. 13" handstamp and Calais transit cds, manuscript "30" decimes due rating, Liverpool transit and receiving backstamps, Fine, still a rare "Way" cover usage to a foreign destination bearing the 1847 5¢ issue.
