1855, 10¢ green, type I, Position 92L1, enormous margins all around including wide sheet margin at bottom and portion of stamp at right, rich bold color and an exceptional impression, neat town cancel, a Superb gem, only four other examples to grade as such with only one grading higher (at 98J), ex-Kirke and Eubanks; with 2010 P.S.E. & 2011 P.F. certificates, the former Graded (Superb 98, SMQ $6,250).

ONE OF THE FINEST USED EXAMPLES OF THE 1855 10¢ TYPE I IMPERFORATE ISSUE, GRADED SUPERB 98 BY THE P.S.E.

The 10¢ Type I stamps are characterized by having fully intact scrolls at the bottom. These stamps are exclusively located in the bottom row of the plate, totaling 20 positions.
