Mexico, 1864, 1r-2r Eagle, 1st-3rd Period Issue Collection, approximately 100 1r & 230 2r Eagles mostly used neatly arranged and identified in stockbook; starts with representative set of mostly unused Eagles (no overprints) including a used 3c, and some Eagle essays, nice showing of 1st Period with good districts present including Apam, Chalco, Codova, Mexico including Diligenicia, S.L. Potosi with good Cedral & Catorce cancels, 2r Yguala, etc., 2nd Period with Cordova, 1r Tepeji de Rio, I. Del Carmen, some subs and nice cancels, 3rd Period with various subs, used out of district and a nice selection of cancels, etc.; nice condition overall, inspection highly recommended.

Potosi-Cedral (50 issued), 2r Zacatecas-Sombrete (50 issued), Isla de Carmen */o, 1r Apam-Otumba on piece, 1r Oaxaca-Tehuantepec (50 issued), 2r Yguala, scarce 2r Zapotlan with Sayula & Autlan cancels, 1r Tepeji de Rio, etc.; nice condition overall, inspection highly recommended.

Mexico, 1899-1903 Aguilitas Superb Postal History Gold Medal Exhibit, offered intact (except for proofs offered separately); nine frames neatly mounted in 72 double pages with 200+ high quality postal history items (147 covers, 29 exceptional postal cards and 27 fronts with unique frankings (like the largest multiple of the 10c), considered tot be the best collection of this issue ever exhibited, contains 35 items with mixed frankings and postage dues (often with stamps from other countries, or Mulitas, Revenue stamps or postage-due markings), among the Mulitas mixed frankings (less than 50 known) is an extraordinary registered 70c cover with 5 Mulitas and two Aguilitas, this issue was the first Mexican issue with bicolor stamps and the collector assembled many very uncommon rates like Muestras sin Valor Commercial (Samples), parcel rates (3 receipts with attached stamps (maybe a handful of others are known) and printed matter (even one registered to Australia), most items are going abroad including rare destinations (Sweden, Norway, Hawaii, Canal Zone, Haiti, Denmark, Buenos Aires, Egypt,Turkey, Australia, Manila, Java, Honduras, Hong Kong, etc), there are 2 bisects (unlisted by Scott, but with a MEPSI opinion), other items include a 1c pasted on Zacatecas newspaper, an IOU with revenue stamps + Aguilitas and uncommon local city frankings, the high values chapter (50c-5p) contains 23 scarce items mostly non-philatelic including a tag originally attached to a bag, the highest franking cover (12 pesos: pair of 5p + 1p) is philatelic yet unique, not many off-cover stamps are included, yet there is a unique block with a very early "Payo Obispo" cancel (now Chetumal).
