Mexico, Federal Revenue Deluxe Collective Proof Book, 1936-41, 27 page spiral & leather bound book produced by the Talleres De Impresion De Estampillas Y Valores and the Publicaciones De La Sectretarias De Hacienda Y Credito Publico with proofs of all the Renta Interior (Internal Revenue), Impuesto Sobre La Renta (Income Tax) and Contribucion Federal (Federal Tax) issues from 1936 to 1941, 209 proofs each with printed red "Muestra" overprint, each page with additional descriptive or quoted notations relating to each issue or set as well as a gold embossed "Estados Unidos Mexico" emblem; some of the cellophane interleaving missing, still Very Fine.
Estimate    $3,000 - 4,000.

AN EXTREMELY RARE 1936-41 MEXICO FEDERAL REVENUE PROOF BOOK - ONE OF ONLY FOUR EXAMPLES KNOWN.

Mexico, Renta Interior Issues on Document, 1924-25, group of 18 invoices from Ernesto Madero y Hnos for Aguardientes y Cognacs; with over 90 revenue with unlisted "Vinos y Licores" or "Vinos de Luna" overprints, includes at least thirteen 50p and nine 100p values, prefin and handstamp cancels; some flaws, generally F.-V.F.

Ernesto Madero was a member of a very wealthy family, a banker and business man. He also served as Secretary of Finance in the cabinet of his brother President Francisco I. Madero.
