(Yuba) Marysville, Cal., Paid By Stamps, three examples of the blue cds (YUB-870): first is franked with 10¢ 1851 issue imperf tied by fancy geometric, second is 3¢ 1853-55 3¢ Nesbitt entire additionally franked with 1851 3¢ imperf, and last is 10¢ Nesbitt entire to Vermont; some condition issues, Fine, a nice trio of the "Marysville Paid By Stamps" covers.

(Yuba) Marysville, Cal., Oct 29 / 40, black integral rate cds (YUB-810) on stampless cover with "PAID" in italic handstamp to Ohio, notation at lower left "per Steamer of 1st Nov" (1850 usage based on range of dates in Williams' book), Very Fine and attractive.

(Yuba) Marysville, Cal. June 30 / 80, cds (YUB-800) with integral rate on cover to Rushville, Illinois, also manuscript "Paid" and "80 cts" endorsements with "Paid" deleted, undated but necessarily an 1851 use given the postmark type and rate; cover restored with lining added, mended tear affecting postmark, lovely Very Fine appearance, the only recorded example of this postmark type showing the 80¢ double rate., ex-Tatham.
Estimate    $200 - 300.

The cover was sent on the last day of the "40" rate period.

(Yuba) Marysville, Cal., two covers with large blue cds (YUB-830); one on 1852 folded cover (letter from emigrant to his parents with usual talk of hard times) franked with vert. pair of 1851 3¢ orange brown (10, Gash on Shoulder var.) tied by blue April 28 cds with matching "Paid 6" in oval, second cover (some wear) is similar but franked with 1851 3¢ dull red (11) horiz. pair, F.-V.F., the Orange Brown cover is quite nice.

(Yuba) Marysville, Cal. PAID By Stamps, Aug x, light but mostly readable handstamp (YUB-870) with shaded star killer tying 1857 10¢ green, Type IV (Scott 34) on cover to Providence, R.I.; two repaired tears along top edge of cover, F.-V.F., a rare stamp tied on cover by this fancy cancel.

PAID By Stamps, Mar 4, bold strike of blue cds (YUB-870) with segmented waffle type grid on cover to Maine, franked with horizontal strip of three 3¢ 1851 issue and one 1¢ 1851 issue imperforate adhesives, making up the 10¢ rate; reduced at left slightly, Extremely Fine, a wonderful cover with eye appeal.

(Yuba) Marysville, Cal., Oct 4 / 15, integral rate handstamp in blue (similar to Williams' YUB-840, but unlisted with "15" integral rate) on buff cover to Canada West, red manuscript under cds "15 Unpaid" with manuscript at right "Oroville Sep 27/55", with "U.States" handstamp and manuscript "9"credit marking; some cover wear, F.-V.F., unlisted in Williams and likely unique example of this "15" integral rate handstamp.
