Billboard Advertising Cover Collection, 1863-1908, a selection of 88 covers franked with a very good range of issues from 3¢ rose (65) to the 3¢ banknote (158), from many different states including the Dakotas (Territory) and Kansas, all covers have billboard ads on the backs, advertising everything from dentistry, dry goods, general merchandise, horses, hotels, medicines, tobacco and more, some better cancels spotted, one from Waterbury Ct; condition is mixed but some are above the norm for these, a very interesting group with many scarce items.Estimate $1,500 - 2,000.
