Richmond, Va. view. Multicolored Magnus patriotic cover to Lowell, Mass, franked on reverse with 1861 3¢ rose tied by grid cancel and matching "Fort Kearny, N.T." cds alongside, Very Fine, a wonderful patriotic usage from Nebraska Territory; with 1988 A.P.S. certificate.

Washington, eagle with shield and female with flag, included is matching multicolor "Rose" enclosure (printed by Magnus) with various Washington city views in blue & bronze, cover with small, light crease at bottom right, included is 2nd cover of same (flap missing & some soiling with multicolor "Rose" enclosure with various multicolor Washington city views (similar to above enclosure, but multicolor & without central design & Magnus imprint), Very Fine.

Allover design in orange on large buff cover to Orange, NY, franked with 1861, 3¢ rose (corner nick at bottom left) tied by "Washington, D.C., Feb. 12, 1863" double cds, with original embossed enclosure with multicolored soldier's tent which opens to show soldier writing, Very Fine and choice.
