Classic 19th century collection housed in two volume 1899 Schaubek Illustrated Albums, high degree of completion with many scarce to rare items throughout and occasional better covers, strength in better European countries with good Asia and early Latin America, including United States with #1 with cert and many other classic issues, 1861 90¢, #93 with cert, Pictorials to the 12¢, Banknotes including Officials, Columbians mint to the 50¢ etc., among the many other highlights including strong completion in German States including Baden and Bavaria with early covers, Hamburg, good Hannover, Heligoland with completion mint and used, etc., Belgium including multiple early issues and 1878 5fr mint, completion in Denmark including #1 used with cert and Scott #24 mint with cert, Finland with 1856 10k on piece, strong basic completion in early France to the 1fr values including a attractive 1869 5fr used, Gibraltar with #7 used with cert, G.B. from 4 used 1840 1d black singles on including later high values, Iceland with Scott #33 used with cert, strong Italy and States highlighted by Two Sicilies Scott #8 used (thin, two certs, cat $8,000) as well as many other better, completion in Netherlands, Norway with four margin #1 on and off cover, Russia with what appears to be a rare mint #1 with o.g. (small thins), Switzerland including a used #2L6 with cert and a lovely #9 var. pair with cert, India with all early issues present, China with Large and Small Dragons, red revenues, etc., strong Hong Kong though to the 1891 Jubilee used, early Japan, Barbados with basic completion including the scarcer issues, Canada including sound #7 used with cert., Brazil with complete 1843 issues and later, etc., and much, much more as this collection boasts better material throughout; condition mixed as to be expected but a bit above the norm for such a comprehensive early worldwide collection such as this, a must view to fully appreciate, collection accompanied by 33 certificates.
