March 23, 1843 dateline on folded letter to Glascow, Scotland, entered the mails with "St, Thomas, My., 1843" British office postmark on reverse and "1/5" rate, boxed "Glasgow 3 Jn 1843" arrival backstamp and redirected to London with red Paid postmark and London arrival, interesting content from a Creole (Jonathan Hodge) wanting legal assistance against the French, Very Fine, a very rare usage from Saint Martin.
