South Africa Airmail Covers, 1925-34. 22 items, each cover well written up on display page, tracing early airmail service to and from South Africa, various frankings, beginning with 1925 flights between Durban & Cape Town, with special double circle "S.A. Air Mail" handstamps and orange (later blue) etiquettes and franked with first Air Post issues, with one cover bearing all 4 values including 9p green, SG cat £85 as used, postmarked at Willows; 1929 Capetown to Mombassa, Kenya; 1931 London to Butiaba, Uganda; including some other intermediate flights such as 1932 Bulawayo, So. Rhodesia, to Nairobi; 1934 Maseru, Basutoland, to Australia via Cairo; also S.W.A. usages with pair of 1s orange 1931 Windhoek to Kimberley; 4d +1s Airs Mariental to Kimberley with special purple air mail cds; condition F-VF or better, please inspect.
