Worldwide Topicals Balloon Mail Collection, 1926-74. About 220 covers, all individually described in detail, on exhibition pages in 3 albums, starting with Poland rare Warsaw - Swistocz cover, 17th October 1926 carried by the Balloon 'Poznan' and postmarked upon arrival, accompanied by rare 1 zloty 'Poctza Balonowa', backstamped in Grodno, exceptional as such; 1927 Luxembourg - Roodt experimental balloon flight on special postal card; also balloon races from the 1920s and 1930s, such as Gordon Bennett Internationals, many interesting cachets; scarce Warsaw - Szczuczyn Bialost commercial mail carried in the balloon 'Legjonowo', interesting Brussels - Ceskytesin, July 1936, flown by de Muyter in the 'Belgica', next month in the same balloon Warsaw - Archangel (USSR), as well as Warsaw - Peliszcze with illustrated cachet, June 1937 Brussels - Tukumo; continuing to 1974, with many interesting and scarce items, many signed by pilots; countries include many Austria, other Europe including Belgium, Swiss, Netherlands, etc; Poland; Israel, Pakistan, Canada, G.B. and so on; well worth careful examination, seldom seen as extensive.

About 100 covers, presented in specialized Lighthouse album, with full descriptions of each item; best is very scarce Yugoslavia 1960 Maribor-Cirkovce cover ($150 in E-Z catalog); also some stamps and labels, best being Mexico 1961 private overprint for 25th Anniversary of McAllen-Reynoso flight ($50); interesting collection rarely seen offered.
