Red straight line townmark with matching "Paid" straight line handstamp on 1842 folded letter letter to Concord, N.H., manuscript "Paid 10" rate, addressed and postmarks crossed out and sent back to sender with red "Concord, N.H., Sep 28" cds and manuscript "10" rate, lengthy letter from ardent abolitionist Daniel Hoit on the injustice of slavery, Fine, a very early turn cover usage.
