Hawaii, 1894, 1¢ yellow. Tied by Honolulu duplex & used locally on fresh Hobron Drug Co. cover, handstamped with two line "Pas Réclamé./Unclaimed." marking (Davey 767) & "Dead Letter Office, Aug 5, 1896" cds (Davey 754) both in blue, reverse with wonderful allover illustrated advertising for "Putnam's Cherry Cough Comfort/ Cures Coughs and Colds" in red with violet "Honolulu, Advertised" cds (Davey 751), Very Fine and choice, one of the finest Hawaiian ad covers with a fabulous array of markings.

Hawaii, 1894, 1¢ yellow. Tied by Honolulu, H.I. duplex postmark on 1899 Holbron Drug Co., Honolulu, H. I., corner card cover with multicolored illustrated Pepsin Sticks Chewing Gum advertisement; cover with some minor tone spots and reduced at left slightly into ad design, F.-V.F., a wonderful and rare advertisement design.

Hawaii, 1894, 2¢ brown. Tied by blue "Lihue, Kauai, Mar 23, 99" cds (MH 272.614) on fresh U.S. 1897, 1¢ black postal card to Floral Park, N.Y., with "Honolulu, H.I., Mar 24, 1899" transit cds alongside, Very Fine, a very rare and unusual usage of Hawaiian stamps used on a United States postal card from Lihue, Kauai.

Hawaii, 1894, 2¢ brown, "Flying Goose" Flaw. Position 48LR2, left stamp in bottom margin strip of three with part imprint, tied by indistinct strikes of Honolulu dateless square handstamps on printed address cover to Honolulu, crayon "6" at left and right; cover tape stain at top left and the variety with piece out at top (apparently prior to use), Fine appearance.

Paying the double 5¢ UPU rate on cover to Yokohama, Japan, all tied by "Honolulu, H.I., Sep 19, 1895" duplex postmarks, manuscript S.S. Peru ship endorsement at bottom left, reverse with "Hawaiian Hotel/Hamilton Johnson, Manager" allover illustrated 4 panel scene advertising design and receiving postmark, cover with fumigation corner clip at bottom right from the 1895 Cholera Epidemic; one 1¢ stamp with small tear, otherwise Very Fine.

Hall & Son blue corner card with illustrated Remington Hammerless Double Barrel Gun and allover ad on reverse, to Kalae, Molokai with purple "Kaunakakai, Molokai, Jan 9, 1900" transit cds (MH 281.01) on reverse, cover with fumigation cut at bottom left and roughly opened at right affecting gun design, otherwise Fine.
