Hawaii, Postal Card, 1897, 2¢ green, larger border frame. Canceled by light "Koloa, Kauai, Sep 15, 1899" cds (MH 282.012) and addressed to Westerstede, Germany, reverse with printed blue wash photograph of Palmtree and House scene and message datelined from Mahaulepu, appropriate transit and receiving postmarks, Very Fine, an extremely rare printed photo picture on a 1897 2¢ postal card, with only two other similar photo postal cards are recorded.

Hawaii, Postal Card Group, 1882-97. 20 cards; 15 1¢ cards with various town cds's including Paia, Hana (211.11), Waimea, Hamakua (282.011), Heeia (281.03), Lihue, Kohala (282.013) and Waialua, also a UX8 uprated with 1894 1¢ yellow to Chicago, Ill. and a Honolulu local usage with purple Coll. 10.10 A.M. handstamp on reverse, 3 2¢ cards including UX2 to New York City and 2 UX9 usages to Boston, Mass. and Tokyo, Japan, 1¢ reply card from Kohala; some minor flaws (no photo).

Hawaii, Paid Reply Postal Card, 1889, 1¢+1¢ gray violet on buff. unsevered card to the Pahala Plantation canceled with "Honolulu, H.I., Oct 11, 1890" duplex, reverse with printed plantation report for publishing in the Hawaiian Annual, reply card canceled by purple target and "Pahala, Hawaii, Oct 29, 1890" cds (MH 281.01), with "Honolulu, H.I., Oct. 31" receiving duplex; couple small insect holes affecting message card, still Very Fine, an attractive and rare unsevered Paid Reply Postal Card usage.

Hawaii, Paid Reply Postal Card, 1889, 1¢+1¢ gray violet on buff, reply card. Addressed to Shanghai, China, canceled by "Honolulu, H.I., Dec 18, 1897" duplex postmarks, reverse with "Shanghai, I.J.P.O., Jan 15, 98" cds and scarce purple straight line "Collection 9:25 A.M." handstamp struck in Honolulu; small internal cut in card, otherwise Very Fine, a very scarce usage of reply card to China.
