Hawaii, 1893, 1¢ green, red overprint. Tied by "Honolulu, H.I., Jan 27, 1894" duplex postmark on locally addressed card, printed reverse from Julius A. Palmer, Jr., Bureau of Foreign Correspondence for the Daily Evening Transcript (Boston); couple insect holes affecting card, F.-V.F., a very rare commercial card usage franked with Hawaiian postage.

Hawaii, 1893, 2¢ dull violet, red overprint. Tied by "Honolulu, H.I., Dec. 9, 1897" duplex postmark on Hawaiian "Aloha Nui" picture post card showing "Wharfs Honolulu" scene, to New Hampshire with partial San Francisco transit postmark on reverse, Very Fine, an early usage of a Hawaiian post card with a rarely seen use of the 1893 Provisional overprint issue.

In combination with 1899, 1¢ dark green on Hawaiian picture post card with "Hilo Hotel" scene, to Laubenheim, Germany, tied by purple "Olaa, Jan 5, 1900" cds and target duplexes (MH 253.9a1), San Francisco transit and receiving postmarks; 1¢ yellow with a few pulled perfs at lower left, otherwise Very Fine, a very rare 1¢ combination on a Hawaiian picture post card.

Tied by purple "Honouliuli, Oahu, Jan 29" cds (MH 281.02) on Hawaiian picture post card showing "Surfriding Waikiki" allegorical bordered scene, to Hannover, Germany with "Honolulu, H.I., Jan 30, 1900" duplex and San Francisco transit postmarks; card with light corner creases at bottom right, otherwise Very Fine, a rare usage from Honoliuli, Oahu.

Tied by "Honolulu, H.I., Jan 26, 1899" duplex postmark on Hawaiian "Aloha nui." picture post card with "Pineapple Plantation, Pearl City" scene, to Paris, France with San Francisco transit cds, reverse with purple "Consulate De France A Honolulu (Iles Hawaii)" fancy box handstamp, portion of address panel obliterated, Very Fine, a very rare usage from the French Consulate in Hawaii.

Near perfect centering, tied by bold purple "Volcano House, Hawaii, Jan 18, 1899" cds (MH 281.02) with second superb strike at left on Hawaiian "Aloha Nui" picture post card showing "Royal Hawaiian Hotel" scene, to Omaha, Neb. with Honolulu and San Francisco transit postmarks, message written in Hawaiian with "Kilauea" dateline; card with filing hole, still Extremely Fine, a wonderful Hawaiian post card usage from Volcano House.

Tied by "Honolulu H.I., July 6, 1898" duplex postmark on bluish green ""Boys in Blue" Hawaiian Souvenir Card" showing Soldiers Marching on Fort Street scene (Wall, Nichols & Co, Publisher imprint), to Berkeley, Cal. with Tacoma, Wash. transit and receiving backstamps; card with bends and creases and a couple stains, Fine, a very rare usage of this patriotic view card used during the Spanish American Civil War.
