1¢ Blue, Types II-IIIa-II, positions 71-73L1E, left stamp double transfer, one inverted, large margin at bottom and part of sheet margin at left showing many lines of the erased inverted transfer inside and outside Position 71 entry, ample to slightly in on other sides, beautiful bright early shade and impression, tied by grid cancels, red "New Orleans La. Feb 8" cds on blue folded cover to Warren Me., Very Fine, an attractive cover and example of the Plate 1 Early inverted transfer, ex-Neinken, Wagshal.

1¢ Blue, Types II & IV, singles on 6 covers tied by New York integral bar cds's; includes the rare 1851 single bar "Aug 23" cds tying #5 on circular (edge nicks), two #9 usages tied by 1856 single bar cds, local drop and to Canada usages, two 1852 two-bar cds local usages and a 1852 three-bar usage tying #9 on circular to Richmond, Va., Very Fine overall.

'Paid' Aug 21" red cds at top left; ex-Cowitt, Very Fine, This cancellation was only used for a very short period of time in 1851.
