Hawaii, (Maui) Kaupo, March 24, manuscript town and date postmark (803, 1RRRR) on 1864, 2¢ rose vermilion, with additional target handstamp cancel, thins and a few short perfs, Very Fine appearance, an extremely rare Kaupo manuscript cancel with dateline, one of three examples known to us; with 2020 H.P.S. certificate.

On Gregory's "Post Office in Paradise" website, the Kaupo manuscript postmark is listed (801 name only) and now lists the town and date manuscript (803, offered here) and the P.O. manuscript (802) postmarks.
