Hawaii, The Hawaiian News Co., Honolulu, H.I., Stationers, Red Rubber Stamps, May 19, 1891, blue circular date stamp with purple date center, on 1889, 1¢ red on buff, lithographed postal card to Hamakuapoko canceled by 1891 Honolulu duplex postmark, message side with additional blue "Hawaiian News Company." unlisted handstamp, Very Fine and choice, one of three recorded examples of this Hawaiian News Co. date stamp. Hawaii, Legation De Suede Et Norvege, bold purple handstamp of the United Kingdoms of Sweden & Norway Legation showing dual coat of arms, on reverse of ca. 1885 cover to Kohala, franked with 1883, 1¢ green, horizontal pair tied by segmented target handstamps, matching "Honolulu, H.I., Nov 27" cds, Very Fine and choice, very rare, the earlier of two types of this cachet handstamp.

On Jul 1, 1852, a treaty was signed between Sweden and Norway and the Hawaiian Kingdom in Honolulu. Union between the Kingdoms of Sweden and Norway lasted from 1814 to 1905.

Hawaii, The Paradise of the Pacific, illustrated corner card showing globe on cover bearing 1¢ violet (30) and 2¢ dull violet (57) pair, all tied by two strikes of "Honolulu H.I., Jan 8, 1894" duplex to Los Angeles Cal., reverse with San Francisco (1.13) transit and Los Angeles (1.14) arrival cds; cover reduced slightly at left and 1¢ with counterfeit double overprints, Very Fine appearance; with 2020 P.F. certificate.
