(Siskiyou) Ottitiewa P.O., Cal., May 24/60, manuscript postmark (SIS-3110) on 1855, 10¢ Nesbitt entire to Winchendon, Mass., canceled by two strikes of blue "Paid" handstamp; reduced with small corner nick, Very Fine, a very rare postmark and the only one we known of with the "P.O." designation in name (photo on web site).

(Stanislaus) Newman, Cal., Jun 2, 1889, red octagon date stamp and target duplex (Williams unlisted) used as transit postmark on reverse of Southern Pacific Co. corner crease cover to Sturgeon, Cal., franked with 2¢ Banknote tied by San Francisco duplex, reverse with partial scarce receiving postmark, Very Fine and choice, a unique cancel and very rare usage (photo on web site).

(Tehama) Red Bluff, Cal., Registered, Jul 14 1887, purple cds (Williams unlisted) on folded letter to Lavertezzo, Switzerland, franked with manuscript canceled 5¢ + 10¢ Banknotes, matching "Registered No." handstamp and N.Y. registry etiquette, appropriate transit and receiving backstamps; some light cover toning, otherwise Very Fine, an unlisted example of the earliest Red Bluff "Registered" townmark, very rare quite possibly unique.
