Eagle and Flags with Ring of 33 Stars, with ship and train in background red and blue patriotic design on coveer bearing 3¢ rose (65) tied by partial "Hopkinsville, Ky. Dec 9" cds to Allegan, Michigan, endorsed "Double Quick" at bottom; reduced at right, F.-V.F. and scarce Civil War patriotic design.
Estimate    $150 - 200.

Just before the Civil War, there were 19 free states and 15 slave states for a total of 33 states as signified by the ring of 33 stars in this patriotic design.
