California Postal History Balance, of state postmark and express items; mostly includes legal/oversized covers and entires including Wells, Fargo & Co. express from Los Angeles including label usage, couple early Los Angeles 40 & 80 rate covers. some San Francisco with Admission Day and Portola Festival covers, regular size items including two Overland stagecoach designs with one a front and other to Victoria, B.C. with stamps replaced, Adams & Freeman express usages from Los Angeles, also a book with hundreds of California postmark cuts from the 1910's.

California Rural Free Delivery Covers, comprehensive collection of over 430 covers and cards with various R.F.D. postmarks including manuscript types and delivery addresses to R.F.D. routes, various frankings including 1903 Issue, Wash.-Franklins, postage dues, commemoratives, etc.; note towns of Chico, Chino, Edenvale, El Monte, Escondido, Fresno, Fullerton, Galt, Guinda, Haywards, Healdsburg, Lathrop, Lodi, Madera, Mountain View, Merced, Oleander, Orange, Pomona, Palms with duplex flag cancel, Redlands, Sacramento, San Jose, Santa Ana, Saratoga, Santa Rose, Suisun City; many auxiliary markings including "Not For" route handstamps; mixed condition including some missing or partial stamps, F.-V.F., a remarkable collection formed over a lifetime.

Earthquake picture post card, 1913 Gaviota, 1906 Gibsonville registered corner card cover, 1906 Grizzly Flat cover with Sierran Mining Co. corner card, Hanford with 1903 3rd Central California Fair and 1911 Kings Kounty Karnival multicolored illustrated covers, 1912 High Grade manuscript postmark on cover, rare 1910 Clayburn postmark on cover (discovery example) 1906 Craft manuscript on post card, etc.; high degree of strong well struck postmarks throughout, generally Very Fine, an excellent collection well worth further expansion.

Fairbanks Co. showing The Gold Dust Twins, 1904 N.S.G.W. "Launching of the Cruiser California", rare 1895 "Vote For The Women Suffrage Amendment" showing American Suffrage Flag, 1899 Dixon Crucibles Co. showing Dixon No. 2 Pencil and Factory Background, 1902 Welsbach Co. showing Lamp "Yusea" Mantle Packaging, etc., other interesting ads include bicolored Capital Mills Rolled Oats and Cliff House Spices food packaging, 1904 Columbia Phonograph Co. showing Child Listening to Phonograph, various California Bear related designs, section of building views, set of three San Francisco View & Poppy illustrated tourist covers, billiards view, cigars including Tansill's Punch showing Punch Portrait, Western Fish Co. with fish illustration, political and society ads, 1897 Hartford Steam Boiler showing locomotive, and everything in between, generally Very Fine, one of the most extensive arrays of advertising and illustrated covers from San Francisco ever assembled, truly ideal for further expansion.

Postmark & Postal History Balance, interesting group of approximately 180 covers and cards, includes auxiliary markings, foreign destinations and incoming, official seals, O.B.'s, due, special delivery, registry and other unusual items; including 1896-99 Battleship revenue attempted and accepted illegal usages, 1906 Private Mailing Card to Waterbury, Ct. with straight line "Obscene" handstamp, 1889 Post Office O.B. card with S.F. cds (SAF-2030) and matching Dead Letter Desk handstamp (postmark the only listed example), interesting printed matter usages, 1901 incoming with "Rec'd in bad condition San Francisco, Cal." with two OX19 (cat $250 on cover), 1884 ad cover to Mazatlan, Mexico and returned back to S.F. with Nogales and Acapulco transits, 2¢ Jackson entire uprated with additional pasted on 2¢ indicia, Grant lettersheet used to Denmark, etc.; a fascinating group, worth careful evaluation, generally F.-V.F. or better.
