Philadelphia Despatch Post, 1843 (3¢) black on grayish, "R & Co." initials, margins large to in at upper right, tied by manuscript cancel on 1844 folded letter to Richmond, Va. red "Philadelphia, Pa., Oct 2" cds and blue manuscript "18¾" rating, F.-V.F., a rare out of state usage of this Philadelphia Despatch Post issue, with less than ten such usages known; with 1991 P.F. certificate.
