1861, 1¢ blue, solo usage on ten carrier service covers; with usages from Charleston, S.C. and Baltimore, Md., three Philadelphia, Pa. usages one with U.S. Penny Mail and other two with U.S.P.O. Despatch octagon date stamp, others New York including U.S. Mail octagon station "C" and "F", circular "Station D" cancel and two different carrier "1ct" cds's in red (See website for images), F.-V.F. or better.

1861, 3¢ rose, scissor separation at right into design, affixed on fresh Leeds and Franklin patent lattice window cover directly over lattice and attaching to enclosure, addressed to Paistow, N.H. with stamp tied by "New York, Apr 22, 1863" cds and grid handstamp, Very Fine, a scarce intact Leeds and Franklin patent cover with stamp and contents.

1861, 10¢ dark green, rich deep color, tied by neat Yokohama "X" handstamp on cover to Providence, R.I., with red oval "China and Japan, Steam Service" handstamp and red "San Francisco, Paid All, Aug 17" transit cds; cover repaired along bottom and top right and reduced at left, Very Fine appearance, notation on reverse stating original letter from the U.S.S. Iroquois stationed in Hiogo, Japan; with 2000 P.F. certificate.

Stevens, London, Apr 28 1869" on front, London transit on reverse, Very Fine, rare forwarding to Egypt, USS Richmond was part of the European Squadron.

Pkt., 27 Paid, Feb 23" exchange cds, manuscript "French Closed Mail" endorsement at top, French transits including boxed "P.D." handstamp and Paris transit backstamp, "5-27 1864" receiving docketing on reverse, Very Fine, an attractive French closed mail rate usage.
