The 4r Red on Yellow stamps were printed in parallel to the 4r Black on Yellow to combat the illegal use of splits from six larger districts. However, at the end of the issue, with the central post office in disarray, the small balance of the 4r Red stamps on hand was sent in small amounts to 16 other districts including Guadalajara. All those are rarities.
