D.C., Registered, May 1, 1901" double-circle datestamp on an apparent cover to Munich, Germany; New York registry label (No. 19449); central vertical file fold and back of envelope skillfully added (hence no German receiver or other transit markings), lovely Extremely Fine appearance, a handsome example of a very rare First Day Cover.Scott No. 294-299 $30,000 for full cover.
