Caufield, broker and addressed to Philip Foster, gatekeeper on the Barlow Road, other on 3¢ entire from the Marks correspondence, both Very Fine strikes, of large cancels with target killers. (Rarity 4, 5).

Oregon City Town Balance. 6 covers; early type postmark with 5 rate handstamp (heavy cover staining), 1922 & 1897 corner card cover usages, couple 1960-70's usages and a 1906 cds on illustrated Lewis & Clark Exposition cover with Clackamas County Exhibit heading (pictured in A. Patera work on Oregon); tear and edge wear, Fine.

Orville, Oreg., Oct 21, 1892. (1892-1896) bold cds (type 1) on registered uprated 2¢ stationery envelope to Oregon City, 28¢ postage paid with five color franking (2 1¢ cent stamps damaged); small diagonal reduction at upper-left, F.-V.F. and attractive, earlier of two recorded Orville covers recorded in supplement (Rarity 7).

Oswego, O.T., Dec 20. (1853-1864, 1867-1961) manuscript postmark (type 1) on cover to Bloomington, Kansas Territory, large margin 1851, 10¢ green, type III tied by manuscript, lines, sender C.W. Bryant assisted W. Carman in building the historic Carman-Wilmot home on Carman's homestead (now at 3811 Carman Drive) between 1855 and 1860; cover slightly reduced at left and small scuffing at bottom center, Very Fine, the only Oswego territorial use listed by Whittlesey, An Oregon territory rarity.
